NJ 'nuisance' house falls in bay now 'negligent' owner Stuart Tait crowdfunds for money to help clean up

Neighbors in the ritzy bayfront area of

Grassy Sound, New Jersey are glad to be rid of an ill-kept 'nuisance' house that fell into the channel and washed into the bay. NJ.com reported Oct. 7, that locals say they've watched the home fall to "wreck" and ruin for years. They complained to the owner that his house was structurally unsound and he ignored them. Now to add insult to injury, the 'negligent' owner Stuart Tait is crowdfunding to raise money to repair damages. Tait is persona non grata with some of his Cape May neighbors. It wasn't just his rickety house that was damaged when it decided to topple off its pilings and swim out to sea. It took out several decks and a boat in the hasty exit. Some of Tait's neighbors aren't feeling too neighborly toward him, that's for sure. They say it was an accident waiting to happen.  NJ 'nuisance' house falls in bay, 'negligent' owner Stuart Tait crowdfunds | Examiner.com
